Many congratulations to the Academy of Social Sciences, (AcSS), whose administrative office moved into prestigious new premises in Finsbury Square on 19th October.
The Academy’s new home is sited within the University of Liverpool’s London campus and the relocation of the secretariat to this impressive new venue offers a wealth of growth potential, as well as improved office facilities, meeting rooms and a café.
Access to on-site meeting rooms and open venue spaces means that for the first time the Academy will be able to receive visitors and they will no longer need to utilise meeting facilities elsewhere, saving on travel time and venue hire charges.
The Academy is a subscription-funded organisation, boasting an impressive membership network which currently extends to 90,000+ social scientists; with a mission to enhance and strengthen its robustness across key areas and activities between now and 2022.
Recently, Executive Director, Stephen Anderson, spoke of how the relocation would enable AcSS to build on its corporate identity and further the organisation’s ambition to become “the National Academy of Academics, Learned Societies and Practitioners in the Social Sciences.”
Orange and Blue have enjoyed a long term working partnership with AcSS to date. The team here all wish you every success with your plans for progression and expansion. Enjoy your upcoming housewarming on 4th November and we look forward to working with you again soon.
